Transformation Transformation / noun / adapt, alter, change, convert, improve, Organisations can never stand still, they need to constantly evolve to survive, compete and grow. Transformation is a less commonly used word than change and it suggests a more aggressive approach. I see transformation as being the positive outcome of change, where the organisation works smarter and achieves more. To transform an organisation can involve a number of activities such as large TUPE transfers, M&A or demergers, outsourcing agreements, departments merging. All of these have an impact on legal, financial, HR and marketing functions. In my experience, the best transformation projects are those which are well defined with a clear action plan and management buy-in, all sharing a common vision of how the transformed organisation will operate. I can identify where changes need to be made, define the action plan to make them and support the board, management and all departments through the entire process.
